CLEAR Agile™: The Dual-Lens Delivery Model for Project Managers
Abstract: Agile frameworks define roles clearly, but real-world delivery often breaks down at the
intersection of stakeholder expectations and team execution. This interactive workshop
introduces the Dual-Lens Delivery Model, a practical approach that helps Project Managers
navigate Agile environments by balancing both perspectives—business priorities and sprint-level
delivery.
Participants will explore how applying a CLEAR Agile™ mindset can improve alignment, decision-
making, and delivery outcomes across complex, multi-team environments. Through a hands-on
scenario-based exercise, attendees will experience common points of misalignment and learn
how to bridge the gap effectively.

Session 2 (2 – 5 PM)
Agile, Scrum, Lean & Six Sigma: What’s the Difference?
Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, Waterfall—what's the difference, and when should you use each? In this
hands-on session, you'll use LEGO bricks to build a zoo while experiencing each approach firsthand. You'll
see how Waterfall emphasizes upfront planning, Scrum allows teams to adapt through short iterations
and feedback, Lean improves flow and eliminates waste, and Six Sigma uses data to reduce defects and
improve quality. Come ready to build, experiment, and finally understand how these approaches
differ—and how they can work together.

Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, Waterfall—we hear these terms all the time, but what actually makes
them different? And how do you know which approach makes sense for the work in front of you?
In this highly interactive session, you won't just hear about the differences—you'll experience them.
Working in teams with LEGO bricks, participants will take on the challenge of building using several
different approaches. First, you'll experience traditional Waterfall by planning the entire zoo before you
build. Then you'll use Scrum to build incrementally, getting customer feedback and adapting along the
way. Next, you'll apply Lean thinking to identify waste, remove bottlenecks, and improve the flow of
work. Finally, you'll explore Six Sigma by identifying defects, investigating their causes, and improving
quality.
Along the way, we'll connect what happens at your LEGO table to what happens on real projects every
day.
You'll leave with a practical understanding of what Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean, and Six Sigma actually
mean, the problems each is designed to address, and how these approaches can complement one
another.
Come ready to build, experiment, and maybe argue with your teammates about where the lions belong.

Vijay Viradia
Vijaykumar Viradia is a senior Program and Product Management leader with extensive experience
delivering complex initiatives across healthcare, artificial intelligence, medical technology, and enterprise
digital transformation. A PMP, SAFe, ICAgile, and CSM-certified professional, he specializes in bridging
business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional team execution.
Throughout his career, Vijay has led large-scale healthcare technology programs impacting millions of
patients, delivered AI-powered population health solutions, and contributed to FDA-regulated medical
device programs. His experience spans Agile and hybrid delivery environments, where he has worked
closely with product, engineering, clinical, data, and executive teams to translate strategy into
measurable outcomes.
Vijay is also an active PMI leader, speaker, mentor, and creator of the CLEAR PM™ and CLEAR Agile™
frameworks. His practical approach focuses on helping project and program leaders simplify complexity,
improve stakeholder alignment, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and connect sprint-level
execution with broader business outcomes.
Mary Iqbal
Mary Iqbal is a hands-on Agile consultant and instructor at Rebel Scrum and organizer for the Scrum Day
conference in Madison, Wisconsin. Mary is an experienced Agile Transformation Manager and has
experience helping organizations scale Agile across multiple teams by defining products and helping
teams self-organize into structures that work best for them.
