PMI-NEW September Monthly Event

This interactive session will provide tools and techniques to improve your influencing skills to increase the success of your projects and initiatives.
**This meeting will also include our annual business presentation
PMI-NEW October Monthly Event
Formal approval processes enable an organization to make conscious decisions about the projects that will be executed and to allocate an appropriate level of funding to complete the work. Every company follows a different process and uses a different governance model to oversee the process.
At our October chapter meeting, a 3-member panel from local companies will answer questions and share information about their company’s project approval processes, and our session will be moderated by a member of our PMI-NEW chapter who will share perspectives from their experience.
Grow Your Skills
It is particularly important for Project Managers to maintain and improve their project management knowledge and skills to stay competitive in the market. PMP certification is a critical component. As, during the recent years, project management discipline took a step toward more flexible and dynamic project management methodologies, in addition to the traditional waterfall approach, several new emerging methodologies became in high demand. Thus, training and credentialing in these methodologies became highly sought after among Project Management professionals. It is especially relevant in today's economic climate.
