Carol Grannis, Leading Edge Coaching and Development

With over 20 years in leadership development and HR strategies, Carol has worked with clients from a rich variety of industries from pharma and financial services to advertising and healthcare. A former HR executive, she has held senior HR positions at ING Financial Services, Protocare Research and the Chicago Center for Clinical Research.
Busy, kind and fun loving, Carol is also a happy wife and mom to three, who surprisingly is healthfully addicted to Bravo TV. And her favorite thing about all the travel she does: downloading TV episodes on her iPad.
Cindy Maher, Leading Edge Coaching and Developmentle logo 
Prior to Leading Edge, Cindy led leadership development efforts at ING North America and also held a number of senior HR positions at Aetna (including talent management for the top 200 and succession planning).
Cindy is the master training designer for Leading Edge, developing programs that incorporate their unique blend of leadership best practices, improvisational comedy, dynamic discussion, and skill practice. She also designs the visually creative and simple handouts that leaders can take back to the workplace, enabling them to retain their newly acquired skills and applying them on the job. Cindy also develops digital, online learning modules that include hilarious and enlightening Leading Edge video clips and interactive quizzes that reinforce the learning.
Cindy graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BFA in Theatre. She also went to Central Connecticut State University for graduate studies in teaching and education. In addition, Cindy has been certified by: Coaches' Training Institute (CTI), MBTI Professional Qualifying Program, William Bridges' Change & Transition Certification, Communispond's Presentation Skills Certification, and various 360 Leadership Assessment certifications including the Center for Creative Leadership's Prospector & Benchmarks, PDI's Profilor, and the Campbell Leadership Index.
By night, you can see Cindy performing improvisational comedy in venues around Connecticut. At home, Cindy is kept entertained by her two teen-aged daughters: Katie and Becca – and funny husband Stephen. During her down time, Cindy enjoys watching "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "Modern Family," and working on losing those last 15 pounds.

Frank is a Consultant, Instructor, a motivational speaker and an author within the discipline of professional project management. He has presented at numerous project management seminars and has been providing training to aspiring project managers for more than 20 years. He is a Project Management Professional and has been a featured presenter at the Project Management Institute ® World Congresses and many other project management events. Mr. Saladis is a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class and has held several positions within The Project Management Institute including President of the NYC Chapter and President of The Assembly of Chapter Presidents. Mr. Saladis is the author of "Positive Leadership In Project Management", and a co- author of the book "Value Driven Project Management!", with Dr. Harold Kerzner Ph.D. Mr. Saladis is the originator of International Project Management Day and was recognized as PMI Person of the Year for 2006. Mr. Saladis was awarded the distinguished title of PMI Fellow in October 2013 and received the PMI Distinguished Contribution Award in October 2015.

Ms. Wais is an experienced project management instructor, she has 22 years of project management experience, a Master's degree in Project Management, and she is the creator of the Project Risk board game.

Why Project Managers need to start “Thinking Positive about Risk”
Project Risk planning is something that managers of many organizations believe to be important but often fail to actually implement. Implementing a risk management process within an organization or for a specific project is considered by many to be too costly and too time consuming and does not produce the value to justify the effort. Risk is therefore ignored until something unfortunate occurs. When a risk event occurs the reaction is, in many cases, a series of heroic acts or desperate measures to get the project or the organization back on track. This lack of a risk plan and the risk reaction process is generally very costly and many of the lessons learned during the recovery are not documented due to the fast pace at which the risk containment team operates.

Nicholas Errico has an MBA, his PMP since 1997, PgMP since 2008, as well as recently received his PfMP. He has held numerous professional services positions including Project, Program, and PMO Manager; and worked in Services Management, Business Development, and Sales. He has worked for IBM Global Services, Cisco Systems and presently General Datatech. Nicholas has spoken in over 5 States on various topics, including the PMP credentialing process, and scheduling techniques at various PMI Chapter, Symposiums, and ASQ events

Based on research at top universities including Harvard Medical School and the Universities of Stanford, and Washington, TPI's curricula for performance improvement has been used by more than 60% of U.S. Fortune 500 companies as well as various branches of the U.S. Government, professional athletes, and Nobel Prize winners.
By adding this powerful training into my experience in sales, consulting and coaching, I developed my own process which combines science self and a "Layman's terms" approach for helping clients deal with the unexpected, navigate challenges and create change.
I am a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and a past President of the Kansas City chapter of NSA-KC. I have had the great fortune to have been coached by Toastmasters 2001 World Champion keynoter and stand-up comedian Darren LaCroix. In the fall of 2013, I was honored to be featured as a speaker at TEDxUMKC. With the release of my book, Just Another Leap, I can mark one more thing off my bucket list!

Vicki van Alphen is an Executive Partner with Gartner Executive Programs, providing direction, support and thought leadership to CIOs and their IT leadership teams. She is based in Chicago and has extensive experience building long-term client relationships with C-level executives, helping clients identify their most important opportunities and challenges, and translating client needs into high-quality deliverables - all with a keen focus on creating a seamless customer experience.
Ms. van Alphen's areas of focus include IT strategy, identification of digital opportunities, organizational change management, and effective leadership and communications.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. van Alphen spent seven years leading educational content development for technology organizations such as the Americas' SAP users' group and Microsoft user groups. In this role, she focused on understanding member needs and working with subject matter experts (including boards of directors, software customers and vendor product managers) to develop educational programs ranging from large-scale conferences to virtual delivery formats. He is a husband of 23 years (Julia, I hope I have the number right), father of 3 (Britta, Anders, and Jorgen, yes Swedish names, long story) and the servant to two cats (those who have cats know what I am talking about).
