Role Description:

The primary responsibilities for the Director of Certification & Training are coordinating all activities relating to (1) promoting certification among Chapter members and all practitioners and organizations; and (2) work with third party providers to provide certification and training prep courses.

Committment & Effort:

  • Approximately 5–10 hours per month
  • Includes monthly meetings with volunteer teams and preparing monthly reports

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Certification courses with providers
  • Promote certifications to members, corporations, and the Northeast Wisconsin community
  • Vet new certification course providers
  • Ensure providers provide revenue sharing to chapter
  • Understand new certifications as they are released by PMI
  • Answer certification questions from members 

Backup or Emergency Plan:

  • In the event that the Director of Certifications and Training cannot fulfill their role for an interim or extended period of time, the VP of Outreach will select another director to take their place or perform the role.
