Servant Leadership is an important concept in all business areas, but is especially important in areas where influence is a key element.  As Project Managers it is rare that we have direct authority over those working within the project, yet we have complete authority and responsibility over the project outcomes.  We cannot dictate through power to gain authority.  We must influence those on the project by first serving the project team, key stakeholders and constituents.
